Sirius Baking Company is an independent pastry and small event catering company based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
On the baking side, we offer a variety of services including: pastry catering for private and corporate clients; direct to consumer desserts such as custom cakes, cookies, dessert platters, and holiday desserts; and frozen ready-to-bake scones and cookies.
We also provide professional small-event catering in the home, office or off-site venue. We can deliver and drop off your order, or we can deliver your order and manage your event on-site. Everything we do is done professionally and personally, allowing our customers and their guests to relax and enjoy their event.
Kim Clifton is the Owner and Executive Chef of
Sirius Baking Company.
As a former resident of Chicago, she chose cooking school over law school and never looked back. And after gaining her degree in Culinary Arts, she spent the next 16 years working in Chicago’s finest kitchens – at National 27 under Chef Randy Zweiban, at Tru under Owner and Executive Pastry Chef Gale Gand, at the Four Seasons Chicago Hotel under Executive Pastry Chef Keegan Gerhard– as well as spending an invaluable year at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY, working for acclaimed Chef Dan Barber. Kim spent her last three years in Chicago as the Pastry Chef at J&L Catering, where she created and produced custom desserts for parties of 10 to 1000. After moving to Portland in 2013, Kim decided to use her extensive experience to create beautiful food on a smaller, more personal scale, and so Sirius Baking Company was born.
